Your Account

Reading Friendly News requires no account. Subscribing signs you in with your Google or Apple account, which we use only to recognise your subscription across your devices — the detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Delete your account

You can delete your account and everything it holds — your sign-in details (name and email address) and your settings — directly in the app:

1. Open Friendly News and go to Settings
2. Tap Account
3. Tap Delete account, then Delete everything

Deletion is immediate and permanent. The app keeps working afterwards with a fresh anonymous profile.

Cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, because billing is handled by your app store, not by us — we never see your payment details. Cancel through the store that billed you:

• Google Play — Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
• App Store — Settings → your name → Subscriptions

The app's Settings screen also links directly to your store's subscription management page while a subscription is active.

No longer have the app?

If you can't access a device with the app installed, contact us from the email address associated with your account and we will delete it for you. We may ask for information to confirm the account is yours, and we will confirm once the deletion is complete.
